Founded in 2016, Matia Beachwear is characterized by care, quality and authenticity. From day one, CEO Tina Degenhardt has worked closely with the best fabric manufacturers in Italy and tailors in Portugal to create her handmade garments. 

The slow fashion label’s mission is to create thoughtfully produced, socially responsible garments that you can feel good in. 

Matia is known and loved for her minimalist colors, flattering shapes, and unique pieces for sun-seeking dreamers who wear swimwear that lasts longer than just one season. 

As a sole proprietor, she is constantly working to make better choices that minimize environmental footprint and maximize positive social impact. She invests time, research and resources to achieve better every day for the environment she loves and lives in.
